Don’t miss our last anniversary webinar #3 about peace efforts in Colombia! Leaders from different communities and organizations will talk about challenges and opportunities they experience.
We will have a founder of the first urban humanitarian space in Colombia, a leader of a rural humanitarian zone in Dabeiba and a representative of the Peace Community of San José de Apartadó. Furthermore, there will participate two other branches of the Fellowship of Reconciliation. SweFOR, the swedish branch, will give us some inputs from the Chocó region in Colombia and FOR Austria, the austrian branch, will tell us more about the work on an international level.
There will also be time to ask questions directly to the community leaders and the organizations.
The Webinar will be in English/Spanish with interpretation to Spanish and English.
Our main speakers are:
- José Roviro Lopez, member of the internal council of the Peace Community of San José de Apartadó
- Nhora Isabel Castillo, founder of the humanitarian space Puente Nayero in Buenaventura
- Henry Alberto David, Leader of the Life and Work Community La Balsita in Dabeiba
- Miriam Heins, SweFOR Chocó Regional Office Coordinator

In 2022, we celebrate 20 years of protective, unarmed accompaniment in Colombia. We started a crowdfunding campaign to raise 20’000 USD for the 20 years of peace presence. Check it out here and support non-violent protective accompaniment in Colombia!
Every donation makes a difference and will go towards our collaboration with communities, including support on activating emergency responses, workshops on human rights mechanisms, self-protection strategies and online safety, and physical accompaniment when it is requested by our partners and safe to do so.
