Celebrar los 15 años de FOR es honrar la valentía de las personas por las cuales estamos aquí y con quienes hemos compartido todo este tiempo, las que no han parado de luchar para una Colombia digna, pacífica y reconciliada. FOR ha sido para mí una maravillosa experiencia de solidaridad y de intercambio con personas que han hecho de la no violencia su razón de ser en un contexto tan violento, y que por consiguiente, forjaron mi compromiso hacia este principio. Ha sido una gran enseñanza de vida y humildad haberles conocido, haber podido compartir su cotidianidad y acompañar su lucha. Gracias a todxs ustedes, amigxs, por seguir dando fe en la humanidad a todxs lxs que cruzan su camino.
To celebrate 15 years of FOR is to honor the courage of those whom we are here for, those whom we have shared all this time with, for those that have not stopped fighting for a Colombia that is honorable, pacifist, and reconciled. For me, FOR has been part of a marvelous experience of solidarity and exchange with people who have upheld nonviolence in the midst of such a violent context. Consequently, it has forged my commitment to this principle. It has been a great lesson in life and humility to have gotten to know them, to have been able to share in daily life, and accompany this struggle. Thank you, friends, for continuing to believe in the humanity of everyone who has crossed your path.
